Job Title: Accounts Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Cargo Industry - Delhi Account Manager\xe2\x80\x99s job entails delivering sales excellence with Customers. They need to deliver improving quality net revenues and QNNR from the area of responsibility through effective account and product management. The individual need to build strong relationships with the customer and thereby offer the best solutions to the customers Job Responsibility
  • To also have knowledge of the various manuals, e.g., SOP, LPM, TACT etc
  • Drive the sales strategy of the Principal.
  • Maintain and produce monthly trackers against targets and incentives.
  • Document and prepare written proposals.
  • Thorough use and documentation of 21st Century selling tools \xe2\x80\x93 Call Plans, Account Development Plans, Account Profiles, Territory Management, etc.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with shippers/exporters \xe2\x80\x93 through joint initiatives with the Principal\xe2\x80\x99s Customers.
  • Manage and grow targeted or forecasted QNNR & tonnage deliverables.
  • Cultivate a portfolio of profitable customer accounts.
  • Sell our diverse range of products suitable for the customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
  • Ensure timely CSR payments.
  • effectively interact with Senior Managers and Directors of customer companies.
  • Practice selling products to improve QNNR, not price.
  • Manage customer expectations.
  • Embracing change should quickly adapt to changing business flows and measures of selling like yield, revenue per cubic meter, QNNR, proration, interline revenue, etc.
  • Serve as a conduit between the customer and Customer Services to help tailor business solutions and share customer service reports.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing & commercial plans to drive incremental QNNR.
  • Deliver targeted transhipment sales to promote capacity utilisation.
  • Effectively use business tools like Business Objects, WACD reports etc.
  • Maintain a professional image of TTL & the Principal\xe2\x80\x99s in the trade circles
  • Create team culture and engender a climate of continuous support.
  • Create both team and individual goals that meet the customer needs, whilst initiating personal development.
