Job Description




  • : 1. Team Leadership and Management:Recruit, hire, and train sales representatives.Set sales targets and quotas for the team.Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.Motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales goals.2. Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives.Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.3. Sales Process Management:Define and optimize the sales process to ensure efficient and effective operations.Monitor and track sales metrics, such as conversion rates and revenue growth.Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement solutions.4. Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.Work to understand customer needs and preferences to tailor sales approaches.5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.6. Training and Development:Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and product knowledge of sales team members.Keep the team updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.7.   • Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the investment castings market, expanding the client base and driving revenue growth.Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to strategically position the company\'s offerings.Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and meet business objectives.Key Account Management: Manage and nurture key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.Negotiation and Pricing: Collaborate with clients to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that align with both the company\'s profitability and the client\'s expectations.Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, contributing to sales planning and resource allocation.Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company\'s investment casting products, their features, benefits, and applications.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as engineering, production, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of orders and projects.Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests for information.Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of the company\'s products.Travel: Depending on the scope of the role, travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in relevant forums.Sales Performance Analysis: Regularly assess sales performance, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement or adjustment in sales strategies.Relationship Building: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within client organizations.Contract Management: Ensure accurate and timely contract administration, including documentation, terms, and renewals.Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from clients, incorporating their input to enhance products, services, and overall customer experience.Team Collaboration: If leading a sales team, provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to guide the team towards meeting sales goals.Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales activities.




  • Requirements: Bachelors Degree in engineering, business, marketing, sales or similarSignificant experience in selling engineering components or products to OEMs in India and abroadTrack record of closing enquiries and meeting sales targetsExperience in managing or leading a team even if not in a formal roleClear communication and persuasion skillsAbility to analyse data, track sales metrics, and identify trends to either escalate or make informed decisionsAbility to creatively and efficiently solve problemsBasic technical proficiency and technical acumen in engineering products as well as proficiency in using modern CRM tools and software.
