Position context
Based in Mumbai, lead a diverse team of Account Managers in Bangladesh & Pakistan to Strategize for the growth of HNC business in core segments of Nutrition Improvement & Pharmaceuticals
Position content


Key areas of accountability/responsibility

  • Plan and drive yearly sales budget for the region
  • Develop and maintain country customer and distributor accounts strategy and action plan.
  • Develop & maintain a strong relationship with Top Customer Accounts in the region
  • Develop and implement country pricing and contract terms strategy and action plan
  • Provide direction and guide the country team on sales, marketing, and technical services.
  • Monitor and report the development of the industry, competitors, customers, and regulatory environment of the country.
  • Provide leadership in defining, implementing, and monitoring market development plans. Work together with Account Managers to build a strong pipeline of projects to secure future growth in the region
  • Provide leadership and guidance on account management to the team including but not limited to; managing customers' complaints, and introducing new products, concepts, and applications to the assigned accounts.
  • Monitor, forecast, and manage requirements of assigned accounts
  • Provide required documentation for product registration to assigned accounts
  • Develop & implement a strategy for the entry into Market Ready Solutions



Knowledge and educational level
  • A degree in Food Science or Chemistry or Pharma related field
  • A sound understanding in the value chain concept of the Food, Dietary Supplement and Pharma industries and the market dynamics of relevant ingredient business
  • Experience in business management, performance targets, sales operational excellence and managing multi-cultural teams




Required level of experiences
  • At a minimum of 10 years of sales experience in Pharma, Dietary Supplement, or Nutritional Ingredients
  • Experience in account management, front-end sales activities, and customer support will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Pro-active with a can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of industry and markets, good know-how about products and/or applications
  • Experience in people management
