Role Purpose:

Syngenta is embarking on a journey to create one source of data for decision support and to drive efficiencies in core financial processes. Streamlined financial reporting, including effective self-service capabilities, and advanced analytics are critical for success. This will be enabled by implementing SAP S4/Hana Central Finance solution including a new management reporting and analysis layer providing granular access to standardized financial data to business users.

The role will be part of Reporting & Analytics COE. As a Reporting Analyst the person needs to work closely with Run & Support Manager to ensure timely delivery of Business reporting catalogue

High level summary of the role is as below:

• Ability to perform adhoc analysis as required by the business on underlying data
• Provide production support around \xe2\x80\x9cBusiness reporting\xe2\x80\x9d catalogue ensuring timely SLA bound delivery
• Day to day system support and system monitoring

Accountabilities:

• Provide ad-hoc analysis support on underlying data by working closely with Business SME and Data SME.
• Act as a SPOC for selected reporting solutions and assist various departments on ad-hoc requests of retrieving and organizing data into required reporting formats.
• Perform Month end reporting data validation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Identify ways to streamline current processes allowing greater focus on value adding activities.
• Work closely with IT and Business to make sure that incidents and data issues are resolved within the agreed SLA. The person should also make proactive communication to stakeholders and providing regular updates till its resolved.
• Support in data validation in SAC, interact with stakeholders and cross functional teams until it gets aligned within different systems.
• Good business knowledge to understand the business requirement and provide the workable solution in SAC after collecting enough inputs.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem solving skills and quick responsive to the queries.
• Work as a team member and have a good collaborative approach.
• Lead & Support the Budget process.

Qualifications

Critical Experience

• Overall minimum 5+ years of experience with a strong track record of working in a support organization.
• Good understanding of financial KPIs and financial reporting.
• Previous experience in FP&A or A2R.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross cultural business environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good working knowledge of Budget process.

Technical Experience

• Experience with one or more visualization tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI etc.)
• Experience with SAC Planning will be a plus

Education required

• CA /MBA Finance/MCA /BCA with relevant experience
