Job Title- Risk & Control Analyst

Location- Pune / Bangalore

Role Requirement:

The central Risk & Control Analyst must have an operational understanding of banking processes, product and/or the business as well as risk and control. In addition, excellent communication and written skills are a must.

Role Description

The candidate will play a key role in facilitating communication with operational subject matter experts to understand the end-to-end processes and draft applicable key controls. Mastery of communication both written and oral is imperative as this role requires the ability to liaise with various stakeholders and verbally articulate and summarize processes, controls, and produce smart minutes and outcomes of the meetings.

The candidate is required to work closely with the various ERTs (embedded risk teams), Operations and senior managers to ensure accuracy of the control inventory. For CB Ops, the candidate will support central Risk & Control team with various NFRM control related deliverables/workstreams. He/She should have ability to work independently, have strong analytical skills and grasp complex workflows.

Your key responsibilities
  • Engagement with bank-wide stakeholders including Operations, Embedded Risk Team (ERTs); and senior managers for maintenance and recertification of the control inventory of applications.
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure data capture and reporting accuracy via capture templates and various systems.
  • Analysis of changes for data quality and consistency of inventory updates.
  • Delivery and tracking of NFRM deliverables, status, and issues.

The candidate will engage directly with various business lines and must have ability to work independently and have excellent follow-up abilities. Skills to include:
  • Ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationship with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to interact, collaborate, communicate, and influence individuals at all levels
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making capability
  • Experience operating in a complex and fast-paced global environment
  • Open-minded, capability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise with others
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) - strong excel skills required
  • SharePoint and Tableau knowledge would be a plus
