Job Summary:

The Renewable Electrical Engineer is directly responsible for the supervision, co-ordination and record keeping of all maintenance related activities on the plant site.

A Resource who can support from technical front for materials on time delivery through service now cases.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Controls all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents.
• Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager.
• Develop, supervises and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities.
• Plan and inspect completed work on plant device.
• Maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work.
• Acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue.
• Train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
• Execute work order through CMMS and co-ordinate with Technicians for job completion and technical matters.
• Assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
• Assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions.
• Co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for stock inventory.
• Acquire full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance.
• Evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping.
• Assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor with all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits.
• Understand OH&S risks / hazards and Environmental / legislative aspect / Impacts related to work activities.
• Wind Projects/Services Background
• He / She has to be aware of handling services now cases, usually in case of services its FRO team, however in case of projects its almost of time related to materials requirements for which projects team use to raise service now cases to get materials.
• Fluent in English as he/she has to communicate with various regions of sites in India, in some cases for APACC region.
• Liaison with logistics team, Project Managers, Project Site leads, MMF(Multi Modal Factory) plant team for on time delivery and so on time project completion.
• Perform assigned tasks as given in Quality Manual I, II and EHS Manual
• Travel may be required
• Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University with 7- 10 years' experience in similar capacity at installation/ renewable projects
• English proficiency required

Desired Characteristics:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization
