Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for a Senior Integration Project Engineer (Level 5) in support of Boeing Strategic Initiatives to join the Global Support Center Team.

The home base work location will be Seal Beach, CA. where you will train for a long-term assignment in New Delhi, India. Time for training will be dependent on learning opportunities with the ability to learn the tasks and build relationships.

This is a Long-Term Assignment in New Delhi, India for 3-5 years with the possibility of periodic short term business travel to and from Seattle, WA; Seal Beach, CA; China and SE Asia. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads and plans special projects using project management skills in a wide range of subjects

Coordinates with various stakeholders and internal teams in the United States and globally

Leads the development of new and improving existing technologies, tools and processes to enhance technology readiness, improve Aircraft performance and reduce cycle time and cost (improve Efficiency and increase Capacity)

Plans, conducts, coordinates and/or develops test requirements and evaluates test results to ensure compliance with requirements

Ability to hold conversations with Airlines, Regulators and Various Customer high level leadership to address questions and concerns in a confident manner

Develops Boeing responses to proposed regulations that impact cost, performance, efficiency, maintainability and safety. This is accomplished by integrating various technical and engineering team support and helping to guide them in providing consultation to Boeing customer base in India, SE Asia and China

Collects and evaluates operational data (e.g. airplane performance characteristics, flight profile data, takeoff and landing performance, noise profiles, weight and balance, operation with missing or inoperative equipment, etc.) plus lead and develop methods for delivery of data in formats required by customers, this could be workshops, seminars, airport and airline location visits, one on one meetings...etc.

Leads and performs research of regulations on flight operation, develops required data and evaluates suitability with customers and regulatory agencies

Communicates with senior external personnel to learn their expectations and to seek optimized solutions for customers and stakeholders

Participates in the aerospace industry organizational activities and recognized as expert within department

Develops, maintains and enhances the relationship with customers via exchanging information/operation data and lead and develop proactive solution recommendations

Assists customers and the Boeing Company to prepare for delivery of new equipment and/or types of operation. Work with external organizations like sales and marketing to provide customer solutions and identify revenue opportunities

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with customers/partner, internally within the team and with management

Trains and coaches others. Ability to provide and deliver Instructions for workshops to our stake- holders on a variety of technical topics

Work Authorization:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

12+ years of Boeing Commercial Airplanes and/or Boeing Global Services Business operations.

Boeing experience in Engineering, Sales, or Field Service.

Ability to Travel frequently will be required (25-50%) of the time both domestically and internationally. Must be able to obtain associated visas.

Intensive knowledge on airplane system & structure, airplane performance software & application, airlines operation processes and procedures.

Proficiency with MS office suite.

Individuals must have excellent mathematical skills.

Experience with direct face-to-face interactions with customers, (Customer-facing).

Good judgment, extreme discretion and flexibility in work hours.

Excellent communications and people skills are essential. Individuals must be self-motivated, with team unity in mind at all times.

A strong work ethic, willingness to demonstrate initiative and attention to detail.

Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics and a track record of working successfully under pressure within a time-constrained environment.

Must be a good team player and hold a high standard of honesty and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Long-term Assignment details:

Candidate must be able to obtain a US Passport.

Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.

Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.

Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree typically 14 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Relocation:

Relocation benefits from the base work location of Seal Beach, CA. to the international location of New Delhi, India will be provided. This will also include repatriation benefits to the last base work location or to employees' new base work location. Additional logistical information will be provided to candidates as part of the hiring process.

Summary Pay Range for Senior Level 5: $150,450 - $203,550
