Job Role:



As the Regional Sales Director, you will lead a dynamic sales team and help Extreme Networks surpass our growth goals for the India subregion. The territory domain comprises India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives sales territories. The right candidate is responsible for building and leading a world-class sales team, implementing the right market engagement processes, enable and engage Channel fraternity towards regional objectives, and partnering with System Engineering, Sales Operations, Services delivery, and Regional Line-of-Business leaders to deliver the best possible customer experience. The right candidate is truly passionate about SAAS, IT Infrastructure specifically around Computer networking and/or IT Security domains and has a proven track record to talk about!
Regional sales directors will carry a lot of responsibility on their shoulders\xe2\x80\x94they\xe2\x80\x99re expected to develop strong relationships with clients, manage their team\xe2\x80\x99s performance, and come up with innovative ways to increase revenue.
This is an exciting opportunity to unequivocally influence Extreme Networks\' overall success and growth. This Role reports to the SVP of Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:


  • Drives, manages, and executes the business and revenue of a sales team taking ownership to deliver yearly, quarterly, and weekly sales quota for the region with sacrosanct forecast accuracy.
  • Analyzes regional market dynamics to maximize existing successes and create new sales growth opportunities.
  • Educates team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing.
  • Prepares forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans.
  • Establishes and reports on metrics to measure team performance, and correct deficiencies where necessary.
  • Ensures that the regional sales plan is aligned with and supports the corporate revenue goal.
  • Recruits, hires, and trains staff members; fosters a successful and positive team environment.


Requirements
  • An Industry-recognized leader with a proven track record building and managing a high-performance Sales team.
  • Min 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years experience delivering results in a similar capacity with leading global players across IT networking and Security industry domain.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.)
  • Process, data-driven sales operations background. Strong experience with Salesforce.com, and building track-able, repeatable sales processes.
  • A charismatic leader with strong communication skills, yet humble enough to \xe2\x80\x9croll up the sleeves\xe2\x80\x9d and sell, leading the business from the front.
  • Experience selling to enterprise customers, and Fortune 500 corporates.
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations.
  • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated, and work well on their own or as a member of APAC leadership team,
  • Demonstrate high levels of integrity, initiative, honesty and right-spirited
