Position Summary: Accountable for providing successful leadership and management of the Sample Prep RMD team in driving the region to achieve the AOP and Goals for business. Accountable for delivering region level execution of Sample Prep Marketing campaigns, value proposition and customer segmentation in partnership with territory teams to drive demand. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Product portfolio: Manages overall Sample Prep Business Focus: Category/Business Management

  • Accountable for achieving financial and market success in the region and providing region-level line-of-sight visibility to global business and product management teams.
  • Manage the Sample Prep team in driving region market performance for overall portfolio in conjunction with territory marketing and sales leaders — gap-to-close analysis and corrective actions as required.
  • Perform detailed business analysis and routine reporting to Global Marketing leadership of Region business performance (i.e. Region revenue, unit/solution actual sales to forecast, campaign implementation status and results, KPIs) so that appropriate actions can be planned. Recommend actions based on seasonality and competitive pressures, key partner performance and issues as appropriate.
  • Ensures team Work with product management, pricing and sales leadership to optimize region pricing, work with territory marketing on annual price setting and “price get” for the region.
  • Ensure team manages successful NPI launches, rollovers, upgrade and obsolescence of existing products, with management of demo instruments, sales enablement (Training) as needed

  • Ensure Sample Prep team collaborates and work together In driving BU Strategy, objective and goals into the sub regions to drive OG%

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business management. Marketing and/or sales experience
  • Successful track record of achieving results through and in collaboration with others.
  • Proficient in understanding, analyzing and summarizing comprehensive and complex technical, market and research information/data.
  • Excellent analytical, communications—both oral and written, and project management skills.
