Finance Head

I am Hiring for Regional finance Head for EdTech Industry

Relevant Experience :

- 5 to 7yrs into Financial planning, budgeting, compliance, Cash flow

- CA only

- Location : Bhubaneswar

- Immediate or 15 Day joiner

Purpose of the role : To deploy the central corporate financial strategy and initiatives, with the aim of achieving financial excellence and commercial compliance in the region.

The role includes but is not limited :

- Annual Operating Plan: Lead the region's AOP finalization and ensure monitoring across functions .

- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management team level to develop and implement finance and controlling systems and processes that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and future business objectives.

- Business Partnering : Partner with the region's functional teams to cascade financial and regulatory knowledge to ensure premium proposals from business.

- Assess the workflow for regional centres finance teams' and make recommendations about training needs, technology interventions, process improvements and staffing.

- Lead the Regional Finance function so that financial and controlling transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards and Financial Control Models (FCM).

- Audit : Support internal/external audits for different functions and centres in the region

- Compliance : Ensure legal, commercial and financial compliance for all the centres in the region.

- Responsible for due diligence, timely sign off and renewal of all procurement proposals and commercial contracts relevant to the region.

- Engage with the corporate Legal and Finance teams to improve overall compliance ratings of the region

- Responsible for taking up any additional regional responsibilities like handling payment process, commercial negotiation, cost rationalization , achieving of various revenue parameters including concession target, collection write off , left outs etc.

Education : CA

Industry : Education/Hospitality/FMCG/BFSI

Previous Role : Experience in matrix organizations as Finance manager with responsibility of Commercial Contracts/Procurement.

Candidates working/ worked in big 4 organizations would be preferred.

Knowledge & Key Skills :

- Good supervisory and communication skills.

- Stakeholder management.

- Demonstrated excellent knowledge of accounting software - Tally, Oracle etc.

- Advanced knowledge and expert understanding of IFRS, Ind-AS, tenets of corporate finance, etc.

- Past experience in managing corporate finance planning, budgeting and commercial compliance is a must

- Should possess good excel and analytics skills
