Danfoss Global Procurement is looking for a Category Manager for Indirect Materials. In this role you will build and execute category strategy and develop supplier relationships. Cooperating with suppliers and internal stakeholders (global and local) is essential, as you need to build and develop strong and mutual beneficial partnerships to fulfill the overall procurement targets: cost optimization, bringing the value, contractual compliance. Moreover, you will manage cross-functional projects, lead negotiations of contracts, and at the same time continuously look for new ways for Danfoss to optimize how we do procurement.
You will become part of a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and sparring with each other about processes, each being responsible for different categories and placed at various locations

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Create and implement a strategic sourcing plan for all assigned categories delivering best in class metrics for productivity, service, innovation and stakeholder approval
• Knowledge in the strategic sourcing process within MRO and Facilities categories, including strategy execution, contract negotiations and TCO reductions
• Previous Sourcing and Management experience is strongly preferred
• 10 to 12 years of applicable experience, in the following areas: Indirect Strategic Sourcing in the functional areas of MRO and Facility management in international environment.
• Having expert knowledge on MRO and Facilities costing factors and contracts.
• Adaptable to work in a matrix environment and being a strong team player.
• Strong communication skills.
• Project management skills
• Should have completed a Bachelor of Engineering and/or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree
• Good stakeholder management
• Cross-functional approach
• Goal-oriented and proactive

Experience in Strategic procurement and/or category management (10 to 12 years) within the areas of MRO(Maintenance, Repair and Operations) and Facilities and with overall experience of 10 years in worldwide companies
