R&D Senior Engineer

You will be working as R&D Senior Engineer and will be part of Electrification business for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Unit Lead and will be responsible for preparing documentation for design review and arranging design review with stake holders and technical experts. Creating standard processes and tools to promote the reuse of technical solutions, innovation and productivity in team.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing mechanical design concept and full CAD 3D models and 2D drawings
• Preparing bill or materials and documents for SAP release
• Preparing gate documents
• Supporting engineering, sales and marketing team
• Working with cross functional team to meet organization\xe2\x80\x99s objective
• Helping to manage technologies, platforms and intellectual property

Your background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Require 8 to 12 years of experience in the relevant field
• Good understanding of electrical power system (distribution system)
• Hands on experience in SAP, Cad - 2d and 3d (AutoCad / Solidworks / Creo)
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
