You will be working as R&D Senior Engineer, reporting to R&D Department Lead for Electrification Business Area, Distribution Solutions Division based in Nashik. You will be responsible for hiring new product development R&D Electrical / Electronics engineer for new product development activities.Your responsibilities Preparation of mechanical design concept and full CAD 3D models. Detailed design and complete detailed 2D drawings. Design of sheet metal parts, casted and machined metal parts, molded plastic parts. Design reviews in close communication with other TC project Managers and technical experts. Metal forming and manufacturing process knowledge and optimization. Contribute to the development of strategic technology plans and project portfolio in own organization. Serve as a subject matter expert to the project, providing guidance to colleagues and more junior team members, acting as a mentor and sharing lessons learned. Overview of IP in own specialist area and develops project IP strategies. Identify and manage risks in research and development (R&D) projects as well as in own organization. Knowledge of Embedded Hardware, Software / Firmware, Power Magnetics would be preferred. Your background Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in design and development of Medium Voltage Indoor AIS Switchgear is preferred. Excellent competence with CAD (Pro-E, Solid works etc.,) technical drawings and PLM systems is required, SolidWorks/SmarTeam/Windchill is preferred. Fluent spoken and written English.
