Responsibilities will include:

• Automation using Jenkins, Self Service Portal
• Design, develop, debug and manage development/test environments
• Expected to build up own project plans and actively drive the project forward
• Create processes to maintain stability and performance of our infrastructure
• Monitoring infrastructure for service uptime and SLA
• Critical support for customer facing services aimed at near 100% uptime
• Write technical and user documentations like FAQs and Handbooks

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PERL/Python & good understanding of OOPS Concepts, Design patterns
• Experience as DevOps engineer working on automating infrastructure tasks
• Experience with continuous integration tools, Jenkins
• Experience in Source Control Management including perforce, Git and GitHub
• Experience with migration of applications to private cloud environments
• Understanding of operational principles, such as proactive capacity planning, monitoring, reviewing, technology migrations and incident handling
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Familiarity with Agile practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and be able to prioritize to meet deadlines and quickly shift priorities as necessary
• Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimum supervision and demonstrate keen attention to details
