R&D Engineer( Senior Software Engineer)

You will be working R&D Engineer ( Senior Software Engineer) role reporting to Group Manager and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation division Business Area based in Bangalore, India. Supports strategic corporate technology direction and future product/software/solution architecture. Initiates and drives technology, software, product and/or solution development using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area or a broad range of skills in a technical or product field. Manages or coordinates development projects/activities of substantial impact to the business. Can act as the first line contact in R&D/SW development/Product engineering for in-depth product or technology related issues.

Your responsibilities

• Hands on experience on different Microsoft technologies like C#, WinForms, WPF, .NET Core, Webservices
• Excellent technical problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills
• Developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for improvements
• Creates and helps the team maintain Design/Architecture documents, technical specifications and test cases in line with Quality systems.
• Maintaining systems by identifying and correcting software defects
• Helps the team in validating the Impact Analysis and Root Cause Analysis for the software defects.
• Consulting internal / external stakeholders concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.
• Exposure to DevOps, Static Analysis Tools, Unit Testing

Your background

• BE /B Tech/ ME /M Tech. (Computer Science, Information Technology)
• Experience with asynchronous and multi-threaded programming
• Knowledge on Design Patterns
• Candidate should have good experience in all related aspects of SDLC
• Should have experience in GUI based development and unit testing
