Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

An exciting opportunity to work in the ever-changing Telecommunication Industry. As a member of Digitalization Unit, for our MN BG. You will be part of a team practicing Agile and extreme programming techniques while developing Nokia Networks Services strategic tools. Working in a close-knit agile development team, you will be delivering production quality software for use by concurrent global projects.
You will contribute to building solutions designed to fit into Nokia cloud architecture to enable zero touch operations of our services.

What you will learn and contribute to
We are looking for a Software Developer who would mainly contribute in building solutions designed to fit into Nokia cloud architecture to enable zero touch operations of our services In this job, you will...

• Able to fine-tune spark parameter for suitable to each project
• Integration between Spark cluster with other system with REST API, etc
• Create/Deploy/Manage a Cloud Native Multi-tenant platform and web application
• Manage Containerized deployment solution
• Architect & Design User Interface using Superset, JavaScript, Web API and apply latest front-end best practices
• Developing application in Java or Python Technologies, and Rest APIs.
• Develop high quality code (clean, reusable, maintainable) with maximum level of testing automation by leveraging suitable testing frameworks and technologies (Unit Test/TDD, Integration test, Functional tests, E2E Tests with Selenium)
• Conducting performance and security tests.
• Ensuring high performance/availability of applications and providing support.
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Writing JavaScript, Java, Database Queries/functions, CSS, and HTML.
• Manage Containerized deployment solution
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipeline as per the Nokia blueprint

Your skills and experience

• BS degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Informatics, Telecommunications or similar
• Proficient in at least one Object Oriented Programming language (e.g. Java, Scala, C#, C++)
• Proficient in at least one Software Configuration Management system (e.g. MS TFS, GitLab)
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Good understanding of software quality principles and metrics
• Good understanding of different types of testing principles and practices
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles and Patterns
• Web Development frameworks experience: e.g. MVC, Java EE
• Professional Working Proficiency in English

It would be nice if you also had:

• Linux, Docker

• Unit testing, Continuous integration and automation
• Cloud & Big data technologies: Apache SPARK, Cassandra, AWS S3, Parquet
• Other programming paradigms (e.g. functional programming)
• Web development principles and frameworks: AngularJS, Play, REST APIs, Web Services
