Join the Application Engineering group within the Switching-Dune Line focuses on customer support, micro-coding and training. Engineer position as part of a team focused on Dune line of products.
The team working closely with our customers with the aim to get the project on time for them. Providing support by understanding the customer application, needs, re-creating scenarios in lab and doing debug of complex networking setups. The team provides SW support as well HW support. In addition the team customizes Broadcom SDK for specific customer applications (uCode). Develop and deliver reference examples above the driver to help facilitate the customer source code training, development & testing. Responsible for training to the extended AEs team and end customers \xe2\x80\x93 develop training material and provide on site training sessions to the customers. Responsible for creating and maintain various application notes that improves customers productivity and implementation time.
Occasional travel to customer on-site activites such as train, assist in bring-up and debug is expected. You will be working closely with the customer facing AE &FAE teams that directly support customers, as well as the Architecture and R&D teams during the various phases of the chip development cycle

Job Requirements

• Education from excelent Eng. institutes with BSc or higher in Computer Sciences / Electrical Engineering, preferably with honors
• Strong self learning capability
• Background in networking application (Bridge, Router, MPLS, QoS, DC, SP, ..) is a major advantage
• Experience from companies that are developing data network products is a major advantage
• Experience with technical documentation an advantage
• Good English expression, both oral and writing
• Experience with customers an advantage
• Experience in System overview and testing an advantage
• Experience with presenting in front of a large audience an advantage
