R&D Engineer

You will be working as R&D Engineer role reporting to Engineering Manager and will be part of Motion division Business Area for Motion- Drive Products Division based in Bangalore, India. Identifies, proposes, and implements innovative technology, software and/or solutions by contributing with own ideas. Works independently as a member of an R&D team.

Your responsibilities

• Work in an international agile software development team.
• Architecting, Designing, coding and unit testing of software modules based on the requirements.
• Developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for improvements.
• Maintaining systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
• Creating Design/Architecture documents, technical specifications, and test cases in line with Quality
• Systems.
• Developing / Influencing Requirements including writing user stories.
• Provide estimates for work on effort and schedule to project manager and actively participate in
• preparing detailed project documentation.
• Present work results to stakeholders.
• Reviewing and coaching the team member.
• Investigate new technologies.
• Understand systems engineering, interface points and software quality factors.
• Consulting internal –external stakeholders concerning maintenance and performance of software
• systems; implementing software solutions.

Your background

• B.E / B-Tech -Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation.
• Strong and Hands-on Experience in Windows Application Development using Microsoft
• Technologies.
• Strong concepts on Advanced C#.Net, OOPS, XML, LINQ.
• Design Patterns, Design Principles.
• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), MVVM, Windows Application Development, WCF
• (Windows Communication Foundation).
• Good experience on Nunit test, NSubstitute.
• Azure and Cloud development (Minimum 1 Yr Exp).
• Basics of ASP.Net, Angular JS.
• Good Knowledge about Agile / Scrum Processes.
• Experience in end to end product development using SDLC practices.
