Position Level: PL9 Organization: Siemens Limited: Smart Infrastructure \xe2\x80\x93 RSS APAC Mode of employment: Full time only Functional Area: EHS, Project Management. What are my responsibilities? \xc2\xa7 Support the RSS Western Regional Management in maintaining an effective EHS Management System with processes for the effective planning, organization, control, monitoring, review, and maintenance of the preventive and corrective measures. \xc2\xa7 As RSS EHS Regional Officer, you will lead the team of 10 to 30 EHS officers/stewards/marshals/ contractor EHS officers. You shall maintain EHS Organization in the region and improve competency of the team members by driving professional and personal development of all EHS team members. \xc2\xa7 Actively drive the integration of EHS aspects in the Business processes and PM@Siemens quality gates. Participate in bid phase of the Service / Project Orders to understand customer EHS requirements (Equipments, Competency, Training, experience, PTW / LOTO, etc.) and accordingly plan for the Orders with Business. \xc2\xa7 Maintain and foster collaboration with RC IN EHS, P&O EHS, SI EHS, & RSS EHS, and other EHS teams \xc2\xa7 Ensure implementation of Siemens EHS KPIs reporting system (EHS dashboards, incident investigations, Quentic, etc.) on all sites with focus on monitoring and continual improvement. \xc2\xa7 Regularly visit Service / project sites, interact with customer, sub-contractors and project teams on EHS topics and ensure compliance to agreed protocols / requirements. \xc2\xa7 Carry out site risk assessments, contractor evaluations and qualifications in accordance with defined processes \xc2\xa7 Engage and interface with site teams and sub-contractors at various sites and ensure adherence to the EHS processes through direct intervention \xc2\xa7 Identify, conduct, and facilitate EHS training of Siemens and Service Partner manpower and evaluate effectiveness of such trainings \xc2\xa7 Conduct periodic site assessments and drive implementation Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) for areas of improvement \xc2\xa7 Plans and maintains, in coordination with RSS BU EHS officer, adequate and competent EHS resources at sites to execute the defined scope of work safely. \xc2\xa7 Reports to RSS BU EHS officer and Regional Manager for EHS related topics What do I need to qualify for this job? Experience: \xc2\xa7 Overall, 15 \xe2\x80\x93 20 years of successful industry experience in driving EHS System Implementation / Project Management / Facility Management. Minimum 5 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years hands on experience in EHS domain in driving and implementing EHS systems. \xc2\xa7 Experience in managing safety teams in complex project / service sites (Operation & Maintenance) will be an added advantage. Education & Training: \xc2\xa7 Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Science and EHS related recognized qualifications / Certificates (e.g., ADIS, NEBOSH Diploma). \xc2\xa7 Evidenced training/expertise in the broader spectrum of EHS topics. \xc2\xa7 Expert level knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system and implementing/ managing management system elements. Additional Qualification: \xc2\xa7 Excellent Team Player and Key Stakeholder Management skills \xc2\xa7 Co working and Problem-solving Skills. Ability to lead a team of Safety professionals and coach / motivate them to achieve set goals. \xc2\xa7 Willingness to undertake frequent travel to sites in the region and move across India according to the Projects We\xe2\x80\x99re Siemens.
