You will be working as Quality Specialist role reporting to Operations Manager at global grade 15 and will be part of Motion-IEC LV Motors division Business Area based in Vadodara, India. Performing and coordinating testing of traction motors for ABB products in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. Ensure timely response to customer, cost-effective solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines.Your responsibilities Perform and coordinate testing of traction motors for ABB products as per specifications and customer requirements. Single point contact person for customer inspections, dispatch document activities and ABB internal teams for testing Going into the details of product, electrical insulation, electrical testing of each manufacturing process, select instrument, coordinate with laboratories to perform the calibration & tests Involve in selection of test equipment, installation, commissioning, and maintenance Coordinating technical resolution with after sales service and/ or spare parts teams Recommending appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, invoice is in place, dispatch activities) Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the entire process Participating in customer support related development projects (e.g. tools, competences, resources) Tracking regular target performance and provides results to management Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business Your background Diploma/BE/B tech in electrical engineering. Minimum with 5 to 10 years' experience of Low / High Voltage Motors.
