Quality Specialist

You will be working as Quality Specialist and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Buildings division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Manager and will be responsible for supporting the deployment of the quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting the deployment of strategy, objectives and targets for quality management within local ABB organizational unit
• Assisting in continuously identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to the local organization or its quality management
• Promoting the vision for zero-defects and supports the local teams to ensure that requirements from ABB, customers and stakeholders can be fulfilled, focusing on prevention rather than only control
• Supporting resolution of customer cases, guiding and coaching on robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Utilizing the local quality management system to provide the local teams with procedures and documentation that sufficiently describe their work activities
• Coordinating and participating in benchmarking activities within the industry, inside and outside ABB to continuously challenge the status quo and further develop the organizational self-perception

Your background

• Bachelor? degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Knowledge on basic quality tool
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
