We are looking to hire Test Automation engineer with passion towards solving tough and challenging problems for our customers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of the DI - Shared Engineering Service team that is responsible for building real time and distributed software solutions. As we work together, you\xe2\x80\x99ll not only learn the sophisticated world of logistics and transportation, but also get opportunities to expand your technical and leadership skills.

Location: ITC Green, Bangalore, India

You will work on innovative railroad automation products - Trip Optimizer\xc2\xae Offboard Web portal and rail yard monitoring product - My Railyard. You will implement efficient and automated test methods for timely delivery of products. You could learn about railroad domain, and about how large railroad companies of the world manage the operations of freight trains

Essential Responsibilities

• Develops and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
• Takes ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using the discretion of senior members to seek help when necessary.
• Works with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
• Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Agile/XP, Documentation Practices, and Testing Techniques.
• Skilled in Selenium and Python.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Graduation with STEM background.

• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools.
• Experience with UI test automation using Selenium and Python.
• Exposure to standard automation frameworks.
• Experienced in driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements, and testing.
• Experienced in working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Exposure to tools like Jenkins, Rally.
• Experience in Windows environments.
• Experience working with relational databases like Oracle, Postgres.
• Experienced in communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
