Quality Assurance Engineer – Test Automation
We are looking to hire Test Automation engineer with passion towards solving tough and challenging problems for our customers. You’ll be part of the Digital Engineering team that is responsible for building real time and distributed software solutions. As we work together, you’ll not only learn the sophisticated world of logistics and transportation, but also get opportunities to expand your technical and leadership skills.
Location: ITC Green, Bangalore, India
You will work on innovative railroad automation products - Trip Optimizer® Onboard embedded system. You will implement efficient and automated test methods for timely delivery of products. You could learn about railroad domain, and about how large railroad companies of the world manage the operations of freight trains

Essential Responsibilities

• Develops and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
• Takes ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using the discretion of senior members to seek help when necessary.
• Works with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
• Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Agile/XP, Documentation Practices, and Testing Techniques.
• Skilled in Java / Java Script.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Graduation with Computer Science background.

• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools.
• Experience with Java, Java scripting language.
• Exposure to standard automation frameworks.
• Experienced in driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements, and testing.
• Experienced in working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Exposure to tools like Jenkins, Rally.
• Experience in Linux / Windows environments.
• Experienced in communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
