Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, and hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications, building reusable automation frameworks, executing test suites, analyzing results, and promptly reporting defects. The role also involves integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers and QA teams to define test strategies, logging and tracking defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, and regularly reviewing and updating automation scripts. Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience in test automation within agile environments, proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, Cucumber for web; Postman, RestAssured, Karate for API; and Appium or Espresso for mobile. Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and agile principles, and experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) are essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are also required.
