Summary Of The Role As a Purchase Manager at Brik Oven, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and optimizing procurement strategies to support the company\'s overall objectives. Primary Responsibility Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for various products and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable terms for the company. Regularly assess vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly. Procurement Strategy Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate with other departments to understand their requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of procurement needs. Budget Management Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage the procurement budget. Monitor and control costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Quality Control Establish and enforce quality standards for all incoming goods. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Inventory Management Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory. Implement efficient inventory control practices to reduce waste and carrying costs. Regulatory Compliance Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements. Work with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and certifications. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Purchase Manager in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with inventory management software. Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
