Job Description


Proposal Engineer Filtration systems will be responsible for technical support to global customers for techno-commercial offers, support on technical as well as cost competitive commercial proposals for sales. Responsible for quality and On Time Delivery (OTD) of the techno commercial offers prepared. Duties & Responsibilities Analyzing inquiries, make accurate product selection, prepare product datasheets and costing sheet for filter and/or entire filtration systems. etc. Review of Customer`s Purchase Specifications, project specifications and prepare techno-commercial offer fully compliance to customer requirement and specification. Convert company cost into selling price for Intercompany as well as direct customer business and prepare competitive intercompany offers. Ensure and follow regular inquiry review, Daily accountability (DAM) and progress meetings. Manage KPI in terms of on time delivery (OTD) and quality of the outputs. Ensure compliance with proposal process and outputs from proposal team. Co-ordinate and communicating with various cross functional teams, engineering, R&D, Quality, production etc. and with internal teams from location JDUI and JHNE for quotation preparation. Provide technical support to internal teams if any query from suppliers. Participate in technical as well as commercial discussions with sales offices as well as directly with customer in case require. Provide support internal teams CST team, Engineering etc. for smooth order processing in post order. Support Sales, Engineering and Operations for the order executions if require. Align the global Sales offices on Bid support requirements, priority schedule and shifting within team. Ensuring a high level of customer support with regular updates on inquiry progress to sales offices. Lead Internal improvements by small tools developments or process improvement to improve KPIs. The Individual A Bachler or master\'s degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years\' experience in technology development, engineering, or similar functions. Pressure Vessels preferred. Requires some knowledge of filtration in Oil and Gas, Polymer, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Aerospace, Refinery and Turbomachinery Good understanding of engineering process needs in design and operations, key business drivers and industry practices Excellent communication skills to articulate strategies and drive a coordinated action plan. Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and multi job handling are essential. Affinity with filtration and/or separation as essential technology in process industry An ability to work in an international environment with functional teams spread over various regions including corresponding willingness to travel Self-starter and highly motivated to achieve results with limited direct supervision.
