Main Responsibilities :

• Assist the Project Manager in all project-related activities like preparing schedules, site surveys, system designing, drawings, Bill of Materials, Hardware specifications, reports, documentation, etc.

• Activity identification, listing, sequencing, and estimating activity durations, etc.
• Identifying the risks on the technical & deployment part of the project and conveying proactively with the project manager.
• Perform all allocated works, installation, and support related to projects.
• Perform support for projects by email, phone, remote access, and on-site visits.
• Manage all project engineering resources and third parties, and services in line with project schedules and objectives.
• Perform quality control during the execution and post-commissioning of projects in accordance with the organization\'s quality processes.
• Reporting all completed activities and planned activities regularly to the project manager.
• Installation and maintenance of Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS), navigational equipment such as Radar, Radios, AIS, Microwave links, etc.
• Manning of control centers in shift system for preventive / breakdown maintenance for VTMS system.
• Ready for frequent Travel to various sites for installation, and preventive / breakdown maintenance.
• Installation and maintenance of IT networks, servers, VHF, microwave links, GPS and AIS.
• Testing, and troubleshooting of electronic units/modules / PCBs post repairs in test jigs / live system.
• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of the following Wartsila (ex-Transas) simulators:

• Full Mission Bridge Simulator
• Full Mission Engine Room Simulator
• Full Mission Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety procedures, rules, and regulations both on the client site and within Wartsila office premises.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Liaising with customers & vendors for smooth delivery, installation, integration, and handing over of contracted services.
• Maintaining the integrity of company & client intellectual property.

Other Requirements:

• BE / BTech/ Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with 2-3 years of experience.
• Proficient in Networking (LAN Switch, Router/Firewall programming, creating VPN, Secure data tunneling, cyber security etc) - CCNA Certification is preferable.
• Self-motivated
• Problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS office.
• Proficient in MS Visio and AutoCAD (added benefit).
• Fluent in English (spoken & written).
• 8. Valid 4xWheel driving license in Maharashtra/India - preferable.
