She / he drives and owns the project execution schedules to maximize results, whilst delivering the project on time, within budget, in conformity with the contract and managing the customer expectations.
She / he is part of the Project Controls function and is expected to manage project schedules and costs in accordance with the established global process, tools, metrics and operating rhythms .
Role & responsibilities:
She/he is key member of the project team providing schedule status to the PM
Develops and maintains the single project schedule representing the entire project by integrating inputs from all functions, units and third parties contributing to the project
Ensure proper linkages in schedule to show all interdependencies between contributing parties
Provides look ahead, backlog and future late reporting with prioritizations to clearly communicate potential and real risk and drive the project priorities
Provides regular status reporting with forecasting and analytics to project team members
Provides contractually required customer reporting and is able to communicate directly with customers on scheduling matters
Aligns with cost controlling function to ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule to ensure accuracy.
Organize/lead timely Planning Reviews with project team, to share all schedules issues and define/validate mitigation plan
Load resources into the project schedule
Build Project Budgeting in cost Tools
Maintain Cost forecast throughout project
Analyze cost trends and provide forecasted cost to project team
Communicates cost status/forecasts/risk to functional cost owners and drives/supports risk mitigation
Aligns with Finance Controller to ensure reconciliation takes place between approved project financial data and books.

Educational Requirements Graduate Engineer Background in Project Management. Could be part of the graduate certificate or independent training Experience & Skills As part of a project team, 5 years minimum of experience in planning and cost management,
Application of planning control principles (WBS, critical path, progress)
Application of planning tools (MS-project and/or Primavera)
Data handling skills (Excel, SAP etc.)
Including interfaces with Cost control, and workload management
Cost forecasting
As a plus:
Carried out organizational and strategic planning process would be appreciated
Carried out Planning integration principles and methods
Carried out Schedules “what if” analysis
Has Experience in Substations
