We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Planner to support our UK projects. You will be working remotely from India. It is an excellent opportunity to work with international stakeholder from the convenience of your home.

As one of the leading engineering companies, we help our customers with turnkey solutions in the field of substations for power transmission, renewable energy, and transportation.

You will be responsible for creating both Tender and Delivery programmes to support the company in securing future revenue, and leading project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

What will you do?

  • Produce and manage tender programme in Primavera P6 according to the scope of works, client expectation, project objectives and deliverables, working closely with the UK tendering team and the various disciplines support each tender up to the tender award.
  • Review and validate construction methodologies, resource and cost loading, activity durations, schedule logic, float allocation and critical path identification, including those within supplier submissions.
  • Interface with other Functions, such as engineers and construction team to build programmes
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to develop their works within the programme
  • Liaise with the Tendering Manager and attend weekly team reviews to discuss progress of the tender in development and address any issues that arise
  • To manage and support the Bid / Tender and if required Project Delivery teams with producing and reporting Cost and Resource loaded programmes/schedules in Primavera P6 format, for the purpose of coordinating works with Sub-contractors and other third parties
  • Control and capture any variations or changes to the programme or scope of the project
  • Provide advice on the schedule impact of proposed changes and integrate approved changes into programme
  • Ensure that all project deadlines, internally and externally are completed on time and that the reports are accurate and consistent.
  • Effectively manage sub-contract and supplier programme interfaces
Experience and Education Required:
  • 5+ years planning experience on multi disciple projects
  • Bachelor or master's in Project Management or equivalent
  • Computer literacy -Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSP
  • Preferably Power Generation Industry & Civils Construction experience
