The Specialist (or Project Manager) GetGo EV and Sustainability will manage and support the execution of our Enterprise EV strategy and rollout and key programs that transition our banner of brands to a more sustainable future. This position manages and supports the execution of the climate strategy through project management, partnership, and strategic coordination across external partners and internal stakeholders. This involves, but is not limited to, budget planning and management, development of standards/guidance/guardrails, development and sharing of best practices, and program rollouts to our retail network.

Principal Duties:

  • Support the development and execution of the Enterprise EV strategy and rollout. Working with the Sr. Director of Strategy, manage a long-term, at-scale EV network deployment where key components include but are not limited to:
  • Working closely with the initial site selection and acquisition team to evaluate viability of target sites
  • Coordinate with internal Government Relations teams to identify local, state, or utility programs that can reduce OpEx or CapEx of a site
  • Partner across the business to select equipment and CX approach that aligns with Ecosystem targets and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure successful transition from build phase to operate and maintain
  • Lead and project manage the planning and construction phases of projects with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Lead and coordinate integration of Enterprise programs such as myPerks, monetization, and app integration across our charging network.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Sustainability Team to lead and manage key GetGo initiatives (reducing single use plastic in supplies, water conservation, and more sustainable waste management)
  • Support construction and design teams with ownership of carbon footprint, reduction goals, and sustainable construction techniques along with a willingness to test and evaluate emerging sustainable construction practices
  • Contribute to internal and external communications, engagement, and ESG reporting
  • Maintain understanding of leading trends and changes in EV, sustainability, and climate science
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in sustainability, electric vehicle industry, and energy solutions with a commercial, revenue focus
  • Knowledge of EV, sustainability and energy programs plus an appetite to stay on top of trends and learn new areas especially in solar and storage and
  • Excellent program and project management skills with ability to build strong partnerships to develop innovative and creative long-term strategic solutions and deliver short-term initiatives
  • Strong communication skills, willingness to interact with internal and external partners via telephone in addition to electronic communication
  • Willingness to overlap with US, EST until 12:00 pm daily
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A history of collaboration, problem solving and communication that drives overall team success
Essential Functions:
  • Strong project management capability and experience, with a track record of successfully launching EV and sustainability initiatives
  • Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively frame and communicate complex concepts for different audiences, orally and in writing
  • Excellent customer service skills and comfortable in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven financial analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle and lead multiple projects simultaneously and independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven self-starter
