JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Project Manager Minimum Qualification: Engineering graduates/ Postgraduates in Electronics/ Instrumentation Minimum Experience: 10 years with minimum 05 years in position of Project Leader in Engineering Industry is desired. Preferably worked on Chemical, pharma, DCS design & engineering projects RESPONSIBILITIES: Leader of multiple projects simultaneously from multiple overseas countries or customers Managing multiple project groups. Each group size can go up to 10 Nos. comprising of Asst Project Managers, Sr System Engineers, System Engineers, System Executives and Project Administrators/ Project Admin.Asst. Responsible for multiple project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress reports, quality and reviews Responsible to deal/communicate with customers from multiple countries and doing necessary project coordination with customers, engineering contractors and/or consultants. Responsible for cost controls and balance sheet of the projects handled. Managing invoices, accounts receivables, actual payments by customers Managing vendors and buyout suppliers in projects Responsible for scope, time, cost & quality of project Responsible to achieve business budgeted hours allocated corresponding to EMERSON Offices Interface with concerned EMERSON Offices worldwide To monitor progress in the yearly budget Conducting customer satisfaction survey on all projects & effecting an action plan Providing technical guidance for different projects Developing department level standards for projects and ensuring compliance to Company\'s Quality Policy Providing technical support to EMR Offices Selection & development of vendors for in-house projects Preparation of proposals for enquiries from EMERSON offices, it\'s follow-up and negotiations Supporting EMERSON offices for making proposals Identifying training needs, setting up the training plan & developing skill set & general abilities with a view to enable the resources to perform at global standards consistently. Participate in recruitment process of technical resources. Functioning as head of centre of competencies as defined by EEEC. Generating standards & libraries for global standards (i.e., Project Builder Library) Analyzing and validating time sheets of project resources
