Ahmedabad - Gujarat - India, Bharuch - Gujarat - India, Sanand - Gujarat - India Job Title: Project Lead. Current location: Dahej Profile Summary The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Reporting to: Director. Job Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of project. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Develop full scale project plans. Assemble and coordinate project staff. Manage project budget. Manage project resource allocation. Plan and schedule project timelines Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Quality assurance of project activities. Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders Regular reports defining project progress, problems and solutions. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Project evaluations and assessment of results Assures project legal documents/statutory requirements are completed and signed with help of concerned administration Staff. Ensure co-ordination between consultants, contractors, suppliers and Company. Assure project meet the requirements of cGMP, industrial health and safety norms. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Hands on experience in installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of all rotary and static equipment use in the fine chemical industry. Comprehensive knowledge of safe working of fine chemical /API pharma industry. Understand designing (drawing, layout, P and ID, Isometric) of the project provided by the user and prepare BOM, bar chart etc. Identify appropriate vendor and rise indent as required as per BOQ/BOM and follow up subsequently. Procurement of equipment, systems, vendors inspection and related material for projects through SAP and also inspection testing of the same from outside. Planning & erection of commissioning of plant scale equipment for various fields of chemical engineering like mass transfer, Heat transfer, Mechanical operation, chemical reaction engineering, fluid, mechanics, environmental engineering in time bound frame work. Responsible for perfect housekeeping at project site. Responsible for safety and safe work environment of people working in the project. EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE Bachelor\'s degree in B.E./ B.Tech Mechanical/Civil ,Project Management, Construction Management or any similar type of Bachelor\'s degree program or minimum five years industry experience or minimum two years\' experience within Operations at CBRE, Inc. Bachelor\'s degree in Project Management, Construction Management or any similar type of Bachelor\'s degree program and minimum 10 years industry experience preferred. CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Not specified Communication Skills A valid driver\'s license with a good driving record for applicable vehicles, without restrictions, or limiting conditions. (Corrective lenses permitted) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, exhibit a professional attitude, and possess time management skills. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Must be an active listener, giving full attention to what others people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis. Possess a working knowledge of arithmetic. REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Must possess critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems. Must possess problem solving skills and be able to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and offer/implement solutions. OTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES Must possess judgment and decision making skills and be able to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Knowledge of business management principals involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of principals and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Knowledge of computer hardware and software including applications and programming. Must possess knowledge of MS Office suite and MS Project. Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
