As a Project Manager at Sophos IT Services, you\'ll be pivotal in guiding various IT projects to fruition. This entails not only planning and coordination but also ensuring timely, on-budget delivery. Engaging with cross-functional teams is essential, with your role central to refining our IT services. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, aligning them with business targets. - Formulate project plans encompassing scope, resources, timelines, risks, and mitigation. - Work closely with teams like developers, analysts, and quality assurance to ensure smooth project progression. - Monitor projects, pinpoint risks or delays, and enact necessary course corrections. - Consistently update stakeholders on project developments and milestones. - Organize routine project meetings, from initial kick-offs to post-project reviews. - Uphold and occasionally adapt project management standards to meet specific project needs. - Cultivate a team-oriented atmosphere emphasizing knowledge transfer and ongoing refinement. - Represent Sophos at industry events, showcasing our IT prowess and innovations. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related domain. - At least 8 years of hands-on IT project management experience. - Demonstrated ability to helm and finalize intricate IT initiatives on schedule and within budget. - Comprehensive grasp of project management methodologies and instruments. - Stellar leadership, communication, and relational abilities. - Proficiency in project management software. - PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage. - Aptitude for problem-solving with a forward-thinking, solution-driven approach. - Openness to travel and present on behalf of Sophos at events.
