Job Summary:
The Design Program Manger will be stationed at our clients office and will work closely with the Design Program Lead
The primary focus of the role is ensuring the consistent implementation of the Design Tools and Process across all projects in the region.
Assisting the Design Program Lead to track regional design milestones and deliverables to stakeholders
This role will also be responsible to work with the owners (authors) for all design standards and guidelines to ensure these are reviewed and if required updated and published.
Responsibilities ( will include but not limited to):
Creating and managing the regional design review calendar and ensure this is coordinated aligned with the STR team.
Assist the Design Managers with Bluebeam design reviews at each RIBA stage, especially ensuring comments are formally closed out. Assist with the with the MCE Process.
Manage the compilation of the regional Design KPIs
Work with the project teams to collect all project level KPIs
Compile the KPIs into regional dashboard / reports
Support the Regional Design lead to track all regional design deliverables
Create and Manage regional design dashboard / trackers, manage timelines
Create a program for the review and updating of all Global Design Standards and Guidelines.
Ensure updates are formally reviewed and approved before publishing them formally and ensuring the “Golden Source Repository” are updated.
Work with document authors to conduct training programs
Qualifications
Engineering Diploma preferably in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or with equivalent work experience.
Competent with creating reports / dashboards and data management.
Knowledge of Smartsheets is preferred
Fluent in written and spoken English
Ability to work remotely and coordinated with colleagues regionally with different cultures and languages abilities
Ready to work in America and Europe time zones.
Person should effective communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team, under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines.
