Accountable for direct and independent management of primarily high risk/strategic projects (occasionally low or moderate risk) and/or participates as a member of larger effort(s) to independently manage sub-program component(s) of high complexity under the purview of a program/project leader. The COO | Group Portfolio Delivery (Project Manager/Coordinator role) supports a broad range of initiatives and as such offers the opportunity to build a diverse set of project experiences and perspective . About this role: The Project Manager role internally known as Prj Manager 1 will support a broad range of initiatives, serving businesses throughout the Wells Fargo enterprise, and as such offers the opportunity to build a diverse set of project experiences and perspective. This role will provide an internal resource pool for both cross-enterprise initiatives and under-served areas of the company who do not otherwise have access to this capability within their own groups. In this role, you will: This job is restricted for roles that report to a GPD PMO Accountable for direct and independent management of primarily low risk projects (occasionally moderate risk) and/or participates as a member of larger effort(s) to independently manage sub-program component(s) of moderate complexity under the purview of a program/project leader. Influence sponsors and stakeholders to promote success of project prioritization and obstacle management. Seek counsel of peers, stakeholders, and/or program/project leads in times of highly unusual or complex ambiguity and adapts planning, communications, and engagements accordingly. Incorporate business organizational/systems knowledge and navigation to anticipate change impacts ensuring full understanding of project impacts and comprehensive engagement strategies. Perform all usual duties of a Project Manager in accordance with policy, methodology and artifact creation. This includes needs identification resource requirements project dependencies, planning and progression financials management status reporting prolific and effective communications ongoing risk assessment and adaptation and appropriate escalation strategies and implementation. Incorporate regular and appropriate consultation with business and other stakeholders to validate project trajectory and project performance feedback throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for matrix managing other PMs and Project Coordinators for the project. Essential Qualifications: Candidates must be a Bachelor's Degree holder, or any masters program. 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, project delivery, project methodologies, digital product/program management, strategic planning or implementation Ability to manage in a matrixed organization environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills strong understanding of core enterprise functions and capabilities Experience with Industry standard Project Management methodologies, frameworks(e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or SDLC), and processes Knowledge of PM tools (Clarity or MSP), SharePoint, Estimation techniques is desirable Experience working on large-scale organizational change initiatives while working closely with senior leaders across the enterprise Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels Leads by example with high energy, transparency, relationship management, and influencing skills as well as having comfort with ambiguity and an orientation towards change Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with strategic business focus and vision as well as process orientation and enforcement Job Expectations: Candidates must be willing to work in night shift We Value Diversity At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
