Job Description

In this role, the candidate will be required to manage information technology projects using project management concepts, processes, practices and tools. Candidate will be required to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within defined scope and budget. Candidate will be required to work with multiple stakeholders (technical, non-technical and management) to ensure project deliverables are clearly communicated and articulated.

Job Responsibilities

• Project manager with 7-9 years of experience managing and driving IT projects using Agile methodologies.
• Excellent (verbal and non-verbal) communication skills, ability to bring clarity to ambiguous pieces of information.
• Stakeholder and Senior leadership engagement, to work with senior leadership.
• Analytical and presentation skills, for helping senior management arrive at quick decisions.
• Working and demonstrated knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Drive audit and compliance related activities and projects with teams.
• Risk and compliance SOP’s and business knowledge
• Business Analyst Skill – Understand business problems and articulate them into project deliverables
• Banking and Finance domain will be a plus

Desired Skills

• Understanding of project management methodologies
• Understanding of technical concepts along with risk and compliance processes
• Experience in running enterprise level complex projects
• Strong attention to detail organizational and time management skills

Our story
OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ‘no’. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer – and it was broken.
