Roles and Responsibilities JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager position is a supervisory, exempt level position, reporting to the Project Director. Incumbent is responsible for Project planning and allotting work schedules. Conduct Progress Monitoring. Perform the role of a Product Head and Assistant Group Heads whenever needed. Periodical review and appraisal of personnel. Impact analysis and scope tracking. Project planning and progress monitoring.
Location – Chennai, Thousand lights, Greams Road.
WORK PERFORMED:
- Establishes and maintains business partnerships with clients
- Define project scope, deliverables and cost with Project Director
- Prepare business cases including cost businesses analysis for proposed projects.
- Identifies and evaluates alternative approaches and solutions
- Develops and obtains agreements on project plans
- Ensures project team develops and adheres with full compliance to project methodologies
- Ensures deliverable are produced within agreed schedule and budget and adhere to quality standards
- Determine all necessary resources
- Controls and accounts for project expenses and budgets
- Monitors progress and negotiates change against project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Develops and present status reports
- Applies technical and business knowledge to solve specific project problems
- Develops and trains team members and staff including providing on the job training.
- Team Building.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- 7-11 years experience in Project Management.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Must be physically capable of performing all duties associated with position. Position requires good visual acuity, manual dexterity and the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
