This is a Project Manager role will be reporting to Senior Project Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based in Peenya, Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible for Lead the execution of medium size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

Your responsibilities

• Leading the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating projects task and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
• Planning all projects documents including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management.
• Ensuring project execution follows best practices and ABB policies and control and monitor them effectively.
• Managing the project consistently and applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and Contractual agreements.
• Acting as a key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensures the project follows and complies with Company health, safety and environmental policies.

Your background

• B.E / B.Tech (Electrical / Electronics) from a reputed University.
• Experience of 8-12 years in Project Management.
• Basic domain knowledge of Energy Industries and/or other industrial production processes.
• Knowledge of Project Planning tool like Primavera / MS Project and PS Module of SAP is an added advantage.
• Handling large scale Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation and/or telecommunication Projects is must.
• Good Communication (Verbal and Writing) skills and ability to drive and participate in all aspects of Project Management. Strong co-ordination and team building skills.
