Project Manager Job purpose Should have demonstrated ownership, leadership, and hands-on experience in managing a software product engineering and delivery organization. Job title Project Manager Reports to Prepaid PMO head Location Mumbai / Bengaluru, India Duties and responsibilities 1. Project Planning and Scope Management: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure smooth execution. Monitor project progress and proactively address scope changes or deviations. 2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals. Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring optimal resource allocation. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. 3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties and create risk mitigation plans. Proactively address project roadblocks and implement contingency plans when necessary. 4. Client and Stakeholder Management: Establish strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Regularly communicate project status, updates, and milestones to all relevant parties. Address client concerns and ensure a high level of client satisfaction. 5. Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle. 6. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet the required standards. Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to drive continuous improvement. 7. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers as needed. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual agreements. 8. Compliance and Regulations: . Ensure projects adhere to relevant fintech regulations and compliance requirements. . Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices. 9. Scrum Process Facilitation: . Coach and mentor the development team on Agile principles, values, and Scrum practices. . Facilitate Scrum events, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. . Ensure adherence to Scrum framework and best practices 10. Team Empowerment and Collaboration: Empower the team to self-organize and make decisions collectively. Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing. Promote a positive and motivated team environment to deliver high-quality results. 11. Product Backlog Management: Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize and groom the product backlog. Assist the team in defining clear and achievable sprint goals and user stories. Ensure the team understands and has a shared understanding of backlog items. 12. Remove Impediments: Identify and address impediments that obstruct the team\'s progress. Work with stakeholders to eliminate barriers and support the team in achieving sprint goals. 13. Metrics and Reporting: Track and report project progress and team performance using relevant Agile metrics. Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans. 14. Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Facilitate retrospectives to identify process improvements and implement changes. 15. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to coordinate dependencies and resolve cross-team issues.
