Job Description


A Legion Project Manager organizes Customer Success Delivery programs and engages with customers by managing multiple concurrent projects and supporting other Project Managers by updating reports, creating tools and executing PMO processes. Each step of the way, placing the customer at the center of everything we do, making their journey simple, valuable, and delightful. In this role, you ll reach and help drive 2 key areas: Project Management of key Legion WFM implementations (apx 50%) Program Management across a portfolio of Legion WFM implementation projects (apx 50%) RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES This role is focused on helping customers successfully implement Legion WFM within budget and on time as well as enabling the project management team to execute consistently with quality and accuracy. Program Management Support for a portfolio of projects keeping stakeholders informed, overarching governance in compliance and project management oversight Validat e and guide project teams on compliance following established implementation best practices Ensure resource allocations and project prioritization has the best use of scarce resources Execute processes that support efficient Legion WFM implementation phases Support the evolution of the Legion Implementation Methodology using Agile standards for cloud delivery solutions Project Management Manage multiple concurrent enterprise projects, leading all implementation project phases Identify and manage risks and issues involved in delivering the project Ensure project is running on time and to budget Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders including strategy, adjustments, progress, or early warning on potential delays or priority conflicts Provide a seamless implementation journey and business results that drive high adoption Manage the work delivered by the project team and ensure it meets Legion quality standards Create professional presentations for you to lead and facilitate discussions and workshops with customers Track relevant artifacts regarding customer success criteria, risk, change, and scope management Work with teams within Legion to ensure support SLAs are met Use FinancialForce PSA to create and update project plans and resource requests for varying complexities Manage changes to the project scope / timelines with change orders and SOWs, working with Solution Architects to validate the change Own project escalations, working with Principal Consulting Manager and Customer Success Manager in support of the customer Manage the relationship and coordinate activities across Legion, vendor and customer teams Communicates upcoming release themes and dates to the customer YOU WILL DO WELL IN THIS ROLE WHEN YOU become a trusted advisor to customers, hyper-focused on quality and successful adoption deliver projects within the budget outlined in the SOW demonstrate foresight to align customer expectations and project timelines, ensuring customer KPIs are met commit to the sustainability of project management discipline at Legion gain and continually grow knowledge of the Legion WFM solutions and best practices accept personal responsibility for that quality and timeliness of work set personal objectives that meet organizational needs are able to meet customer needs while also leading the functions of the PMO build positive relationships with peers while working remotely on projects executed across geographies and cultures listen continuously, learning from others and leveraging input possess unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character proactively demonstrating high moral and ethical behavior work well as a self-starter in a fluid work environment with limited resources are a career driven individual looking to grow in a fast paced startup REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years experience of enterprise software implementation program and project management Workforce Management and/or Retail experience PMP, CAPM or similar certification holder Experience with Agile scrum-based project management Experience leading implementation partners on a project Organized and plans for customer meetings to get effective outcomes and ensure the customer is on track in the project plan Polished English language communicator, persuasive presenter, fast on your feet, and innately organized; superb negotiation and diplomacy skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES Strong background in WFM system deployment methodology and processes Experience in operating environments in retail, hospitality, restaurant or other industries to understand and identify labor challenges that Legion solves Experience establishing or improving a Project Management Office (PMO) in software delivery teams Be familiar with compliance and labor laws and how they impact customers Personal passion and fervor for industry-leading next-generation technology Experience presenting at Executive Steering Committee meetings Experience training project managers
