PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Ensure effective coordination among all relevant stakeholders and ensure that every SAC R&D, Technology, and Innovation projectsare deliveredon-time, within scope. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Liaise with internal and external teams, technical service , planning, NPDI, material master, IT, sourcing and procurement, QC, packaging, distribution and shipment, compliance, legal and other global team(s) to make sure the flawless execution of SAC R&D, Technology, and Innovation Projects. Develop and communicate project charters, scopes, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure that all projectsare deliveredon-time, within scope. Organize, manage, present and drive, weekly, monthly, quarterly project health reports/matrix/updates to management, manager, appropriately. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and schedule. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Report and escalate to department head as needed. Manage the relationship with the internal customers/client and other stakeholders. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties\' suppliers /vendors. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and effective customer communications. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT Identify & establish process improvement & best practice initiatives to improve project performance. Maintain all documentation current. Participate & lead, as appropriate, process improvement & quality initiatives in cross-functional areas. COMPLIANCE TO ISO SYSTEMS Understand and follow process & procedures laid down in ISO and comply with companies global policies and standards. Participate effectively and collaborate with internal teams to make sure that all regulatory compliance is met. Participate actively in all external and internal audits, visits, where appropriate. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education: Preferably Ph.D/master\'s in science/chemistry/business/project management with relevant experience. Knowledge in Chemistry, Synthetic organic chemistry, R&D or Custom Synthesis area will be advantageous. Experience: 10 Years of relevant industry experience preferably in CRO, CMO, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemical or other relevant industry. Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of project management with good hands-on skills on managing chemistry projects, new product introduction and launch. Coordination with internal and external teams, strong knowledge and working experience on project management tools, project charter, Gantt-chart, Work Breakdown Stricture (WBS), Risk Matrix, Project Dashboards, Feasibility analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis, Timesheets, and Updating and managing Master trackers. Broad knowledge of project management, SAP systems, customer interaction and communications, project coordination, analytical skills and interpretation of business/ project metrics and results. Ability to manage projects, including broad understanding of project management, financial accounting & variance analysis. Project planning, customer exposure and communications, ability to survey, coordinate with varying team/functions present at same/different site/offshore and their impact on business. Strong communication and presentation skills is important. Technical writing skills, writing project communications and updates, effective e-mails, procedures & other similar documentation. Good computational skills & exposure to some form of Laboratory Information Management System. Team building skills, motivating, coaching, excellent understanding of work and passion for safe work procedures and practices.
