Qatar Airways Group continues to expand its global footprint by looking for new ways to support our strategic goals and provide opportunities to develop talent. In line with this vision, we are setting up our offices for IT in Ahmedabad, India. Our offices will be located in Prahlad Nagar which is a premium locality popularly known as \xe2\x80\x98Corporate Road\xe2\x80\x99 that houses various business parks and commercial hubs in Ahmedabad.

We are looking forward to attract Project Engineer to be part of this exciting journey.

Main Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Ensure delivery of assigned IT projects co-ordinating with both QR stakeholders and 3rd parties

\xc2\xb7 Prepare project plans and resource allocation plans for projects

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that plans are realistic, drive execution of deliveries on time and on quality and within budget

\xc2\xb7 Provide technical leadership and advise key architectural decisions concerning the platform and supporting technologies

\xc2\xb7 Document and manage project risks

\xc2\xb7 Provide timely and accurate reports showing project information, progress and status to project stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that applications are adequately supported

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to business and IT strategy of assigned units

\xc2\xb7 Any other department duties related to the position as directed by the Project Manager

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Project Management, Software Developement and Maintenance

\xc2\xb7 Good analytical and communication skills

\xc2\xb7 8 years of relevant job-related experience in a project based IT environment.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in working as a senior resource in IT projects

\xc2\xb7 Experience in areas of project management such as managing systems design and developement, the usage of project management tools, UI/UX concepts, application support, business analysis and team management

\xc2\xb7 Ability to train and develop subordinates

\xc2\xb7 Airline industry experience and knowledge of airline systems and business processes is a plus
