As we extend our Functional Safety project management team, we have a great job opportunity for you. In this interesting and challenging position as a project engineering manager (PEM) you will be responsible for the planning and execution of development projects which deliver leading-edge products for automotive and functional safety applications. You will be involved in the whole product life cycle from product idea until customer delivery, so you will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of experienced people. You will work in an international cooperative environment and collaborate with multi-sited project teams. Your responsibilities : Manage project scope, project schedule, project costs and project risks Ensure excellent communication within the team and with all stakeholders Ensure quality and completeness of project deliverables according to defined QMS and functional safety processes Plan, steer and monitor all project activities Regularly report project statuses to technical and management levels Execute gate reviews and lead decision matrix Resolve conflicts and handle deviations Your Skills and Experience: Strong project management skills with 5+ years of experience Proven record of project management experience of international and multi-sited projects Excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking Team player with strong leadership skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Highly motivated and ability to motivate team members Ability to work independently Knowledge in automotive and functional safety development area is an advantage Familiarity with the development process for ASIC designs is an advantage Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Applied Science (or equivalent)
