Project Manager

The Challenge

The Adobe Security team is seeking an experienced Security Program Manager to join our high-paced organization. You will build genuine and long-term, positive relationships between our globally diverse product development teams and security specialists, working together to deliver world-class security solutions to our customers. A successful candidate will work both vertically (dissemination and tracking of executive level goals to the various internal and external teams) and horizontally (promoting interdepartmental alignment to streamline company efficiencies and reduce waste by ensuring broad collaboration on key projects and programs).

What You'll Do:

• Program / Portfolio Management

• Seek to understand the big picture objectives, clarify end goals, and look to be a strategic partner with global management teams in driving the strategy and accomplishing Security goals.
• Contribute to the support of a PMO methodology including a common project management methodology with standards, tools, and templates to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects.
• Draft new and improve existing PMO policies and processes.
• Continuously evaluate projects and programs to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
• Manage the day-to-day activities for PMO in India
• Project Management

• Lead Program Management on Security objectives and priorities to ensure timely and effective completion, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various programs / projects.
• Plan and drive project implementation as needed; identify and manage project scope, goals and deliverables; define tasks and required resources; and disentangle escalations to ensure achievement of project timelines and positive outcomes.
• Work cross geo with US, Romania and India engineering teams
• Communications Management

• Foster close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, leadership, and other teams in efforts to maintain cross-functional alignment.
• Collaborate with other leaders to define, prioritize, develop projects and programs.
• Elevate any risks and issues. Solicit feedback from stakeholders to shape, communicate, and track key deliverables, as well as drive prioritization across and within projects and programs.
• Accurately report on creation, development, and execution of all projects and programs including maintaining documented scope, budget, and justification of projects and programs
• Prepare and deliver required reporting for Security Portfolio as needed (status meetings, written reports, dashboards, presentations, wikis, Jira, etc.).
• Analyze financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
• Provide financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.
• Additional responsibilities

• Manage expectations, scope, and priorities of projects.
• Be process-oriented and constantly look for ways to improve efficiency.
• Work closely with Security Enablement management and other leadership to document and optimize new processes.
• Communicate up and out often to Executives
• Periodically reports progress to management, and assesses and measures results related to Information Security activities

• Education in Project Management best practices such as Agile and Waterfall
• Office, Confluence, and Jira Experience
• A minimum of seven years' experience in the software industry.
• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated track record of progressive career growth
• Highly self-motivated, autonomous self-starter with excellent follow-through and ownership
• Familiarity with building dashboards and reporting a plus (Wiki, Jira, Python, etc.).
• Experience designing large-scale complex solutions without losing sight of the details
• Outstanding organization skills, strong planning skills, polished communication skills, and high attention to detail. Position requires speaking publicly to Sr Leadership & Customers.
• Proven track record building technical rapport and enduring relationships within diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Ambitious and results-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and switch between multiple high urgency projects.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, FERPA, and PCI.
• Solid understanding of public cloud infrastructure and architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security concepts and challenges.
• Solid understanding of security principles, techniques, and standard methodologies such as authentication, authorization, logging, baselines, data handling, and SPLC.
• Solid knowledge of application & operations security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation techniques.
• Proven track record building technical rapport and enduring relationships within diverse and global teams.
