About Department The management team provides the necessary vision, and leadership to drive growth and excellence across all our initiatives while ensuring all aspects of the business are running smoothly. THE PROJECT(s) Setup core Project, Portfolio and Program Management methodologies. Plan OKRs and relevant projects keeping in mind blockers and dependencies, then proactively align the team to execute our roadmap for all initiatives for the next 12 months. SCENARIO Environment Startup Role Summary Project X is looking for an interactive, eloquent and managed resource for the position of Program Manager who will be directly reporting to the CEO and will be overlooking all the ongoing companywide projects, and initiatives ensuring our roadmap is executed on time. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage a variety of cross-functional projects, be able to wear many hats, and ultimately hold people accountable, including remote team members. Overall, ensure all initiatives run on time, budget, and priority. PLANNING Timeline Planning Plan timeline, budget, set goals, targets and deadlines for the projects. Assign deliverables to project outcomes. Prioritising Prioritising the projects according to the need of the hour. Analysing different outcomes of the projects and selecting those which are best for the organisation. Budgeting Managing and assigning budgeting of the projects. Managing capital investments and expenses to make sure that the company meets targets. Resource Resource planning & utilisation - Management and full utilisation of project resources. Process Design - sign and build standard operating procedures, including project intake, prioritisation, planning, communication, change management, escalation, and resource management. MANAGING Project Operations - Overseeing all the project operations, analysis growth and reporting. Project Portfolio - Manage all the projects and monitor the progress. Decision Making - Critically analysing all the ongoing projects and making tough decisions regarding the enhancement and growth of the project. Risk Management - Managing the risks and threats of the projects and taking precautionary and corrective measures. Reporting - Reporting to CEO about all the projects and giving major updates as well. Stakeholder Management - Lead strategic initiatives, and build & maintain relationships with key internal/external stakeholders - project managers, resources, vendors, partners and clients. Requirements Years of Relevant Experience minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing complex interdependent programs and portfolios. Education & Work experience** - We prioritise skills over degrees but MBA or PGDM from a reputable Institute or equivalent education and experience is a bonus. Additional Project Management certifications like Agile / PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 / Google are highly desired. Experience driving large cross-functional initiatives with the engineering and other business organisation Technical Program Management experience in an Agile environment Can prioritise between different projects and negotiate to get the company the best partners. Software and Applications- Tech-savvy with good knowledge of MS Office, and strong experience with project management software like Jira, MS Projects, Click Up, Asana, Wrike, Basecamp etc. Qualities & Capabilities- Strong leadership skills to foresee, manage and guide all the ongoing projects and project managers. Knowledge and understanding of advanced business planning, project planning and portfolio management methodologies. A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
