Job Description


Position: Program Manager (Financial Internal Audit) We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and experience in Financial & operational Audit & Sox/ICFR . This is an individual contributor role and shall be responsible to conduct Internal Audits and ICFR/Sox testing as per Internal Audit plan. The role also requires working with levels of management, which include department managers, directors, and Executive staff. The role also requires an effectively coordination with External Auditors and consultants to ensure completion of Audit plan in a timely manner. This role shall be reporting into Internal Audit lead. Task & responsibilities Perform Financial & operation Internal audit reviews, special assignments, ICFR/Sox testing, and risk assessments. Assist in design and review of Risk and control matrixes, process flow maps, for Finance, IT, HR, Admin, and other function. Coordinates efforts across multiple departments to ensure Sox/ICFR compliance requirements are met with required deadlines. Create, review, and approve pertinent audit workpapers and communication of audit results. Workpapers should comply with department and IIA standards for content and quality. Assist the Internal Audit Lead to build and maintain a strong internal control environment. Development and execution of audit programs, risk matrices for all engagements considering the audit scope and coverage, conduct audit fieldwork, prepare draft report and discussion with the stakeholders and reporting thereof. Provide value-added recommendation to management to help reduce risk through process standardization, automation, and optimization. Coordinates with the Stat. and outsource partner to ensure completion of Audit on time. Over-viewing the Internal audit assignments work by consultants, coordination to gather and supply data on timely basis. Establishment and maintenance of effective working relationship with the Stakeholders in India and outside. Review of policies and procedure for its adequacy and work closely with management to ensure the recommended changes are incorporated. Work closely with the management in following up for implementation of management action plans and getting them closed as per defined timelines. and monitoring of open action and update the status for reporting. Preparation of Dashboards for Senior stakeholders and meeting at defined frequency. Active participation in the Global projects (if any) Bring value addition to the Audit team through process improvements, identify opportunity and proactive risk assessment and continuous improvement. The Successful Applicant Should be a Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant/MBA with 6+ years of total internal audit and Sox/ICFR experience. Should have working knowledge of Internal Audits and internal control. Practical experience of Sarbanes Oxley (\'SOX\') Should have strong understanding of IPPF for internal auditing and COSO framework. Excellent communication, interpersonal and Influencing skills. Excellent relationship management skill with the ability to engage, manage and negotiate with key stakeholders. Fair understanding of Information technology & entity level controls Excellent analytical and problem - solving abilities. Result oriented with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines. Should be willing to travel whenever required. Ability to quickly analyze, understand and document complex process. Prerequisites-preferred: Oracle ERP experience. Experience working with US stakeholders.
