The Role Responsibilities Job Role Responsible for overall management of the Deposits Hive, including adherence to the Agile framework and NWoW (New Ways of Working) principles. Responsible for overall management of the Deposits Hive book of work, including reporting, financials and change management, RAID management to deliver programme commitments. Ensure compliance of the various projects under Deposits Hive\'s programme management processes, governance and standard, and be the point person for any information related to the projects under the programme. The candidate should function successfully in a fast paced, demanding environment and successfully manage multiple work efforts to completion. Key Responsibilities Hive Governance Institute the required processes to ensure that the hive functions in line with the NWoW (New Ways of Working) principles and policies. Ensure / assist in timely arrangement of hive forums and ceremonies - Big room planning, refinement forum, etc. as per governance requirements. Set up the required operating rhythm for the hive for reviewing new requests, engaging in prioritization discussion, hive headcount tracking, etc. Maintain the library / repository of all key governance papers, including submitted papers and meeting minutes of various Governance forums. Tracking and Reporting Assist the hive lead in providing regular updates to various governance forums (QPR, MPR, etc) using Clarity and other data available. Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure there is a regular reporting mechanism for the hive backlog for onward communication as appropriate. Ensuring that all submissions to committees are of the right quality and are timely. Communicate the required reporting and tracking requirements to Product Owners and Scrum Masters in terms of Clarity / JIRA updates. Backlog Management Provide support to Programme / Project Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and work-stream leads to identify areas of improvement and to ensure that programme / projects follow the Bank\'s required processes, policies and governance standards. Facilitate prioritization discussions with markets and relevant hive teams to accommodate urgent requests / regulatory projects. Cost Centre Management Maintain oversight on the approved budget of the hive and performance against the budget. Facilitate any requests for changes in hive cost or budget transfers with country, regional and Group teams. Country Support/ Prioritization Guide markets on the process of raising new requests, setting up projects in Clarity, approval process, etc. Regulatory and Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association. Our Ideal Candidate 8 - 10 years in Retail Banking experience in a project / programme management capacity supporting or delivering strategic projects, programs and initiatives will be preferred. Understanding of NWoW principles, Agile framework, project governance standards, PED process, change management, financial management, project lifecycle and related phase gates will be preferred. \'Agile\' mindset whilst not being the subject matter expert, having the ability to learn quickly, listen, synthesise the issues and articulate for senior management with recommendations. Ability to create effective work relationships across functions and borders excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong financial management capabilities - budget tracking, planning, forecast and variance explanations. A \'can do\' attitude committed to doing \'what it takes\' to deliver.
