Summary Execution of Sourcing and Supplier Quality process improvement projects and sourcing initiatives with broad scope and clear focus to the program. Support major and complex assignments with long term program implication. Leverage practical and innovative ways to identify and meet the process simplification goals. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term program goals, serves as lean methodology and simplification expert for assigned area or team. Essential Responsibilities Support / collaborate with Sourcing and Supplier Quality cross-functional team empowered to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy for process improvement. Through completion of a training program on Lean Six Sigma philosophy, theory and application tools/tactics, deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability, and Sourcing processes to reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality and cycle time reduction. Facilitate team members in the use of Lean / Automation tools. Work with Op Ex leaders and teams to uncover and assess lean opportunities / execute for GE HealthCare and its Projects. Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met. Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure services meet the needs of the business. Support / Collaborate on sourcing strategic initiatives to ensure optimal cost productivity, fulfillment, and obsolescence/life-cycle management by leveraging standardization and latest industry practices. In conjunction with the Black Belts and Quality Leaders, serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma simplification methodology. Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices. Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects. Facilitate / Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to drive simplification in a section or end-to-end process & drive continuous improvement, reduce cycle time ensuring productivity. This includes Change Acceleration Process (CAP) methods and tools across assigned critical business initiatives. Serve as a recognized expert for a process focus area Communicate teams\' progress to program Leaders, Business Leaders. Educate team on Lean philosophy and application. Propose process technology improvements and capital expenditures. Identify potential process improvement projects Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor\'s degree / Bachelor in Engineering 10+ years\' work experience with technical depth/knowledge in Sourcing / Supplier Quality Processes Green Belt / Black Belt certification 3 or 4 years of project execution experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology 2 or more years of experience in IT Services / BPO Program environment with good exposure to Oracle E-business suite/ Oracle analytics service Proven experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change results orientation Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with Demonstrated facilitation experience Desired Characteristics Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization (CAPA Skills) Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results Analytical and quantitative skills statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools Excellent Communication skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop relationships with global teams / leaders Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization Demonstrated commitment for process improvement Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments Presentation skills Experience using Minitab for Six Sigma projects Quality Specific Goal : Aware of and comply with the GE HealthCare Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, Cyber Security guidelines and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Knowledge and understanding of GE HealthCare Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.
