Job Summary




The candidate should be conversant with managing multiple global strategic projects \xe2\x80\x93 preferably in the alternative fund services, financial services or investment banking industry. This is a unique hybrid role within our company that combines aspects of a technologist, business analyst, solutions architect and Domain expert. The role is expected to leverage their technical capabilities and knowledge of the existing platform to design and deliver actionable solutions. In addition to this, the candidate would also drive change management technology projects important for the business


Maintains strong relationship with all the key stakeholders evaluates and recommends process improvements resulting in increased efficiency and improved client service. Candidate should have around 15 plus years of in-depth project management experience in new technology implementations, change management, assessing new market data vendors, technology etc.





Job Responsibilities:

• 
  Management of multiple strategic projects from conceptions to BAU for varied technology platforms
• Take a consistent approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics and measurements, contingency planning and road mapping
• The program manager will coordinate and prioritize project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans and communicates status to clients, project sponsors and senior management.
• Additionally, the program manager often works with external vendors \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements is another responsibility
• Initiate automation projects for cost and efficiency gains till closure
• Leading teams for internal and external work streams
• Managing overall relationship through heavy written, verbal and in person communications

• 
  Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, Mathematics, or related scientific or technical discipline
• Operational understanding and technology integration of market data is critical \xe2\x80\x93 security ref data, prices, trades, corporate actions, FXs etc.
• Lean Six Sigma or similar certification desired, but not required
• Hands-on project management experience handling multiple projects at a same time at a global scale with more than 15 years \xe2\x80\x93 preferably in Capital markets, Banking, Finance, Fund Services/Administration etc.
• An effective and articulate communicator \xe2\x80\x93 be it written or verbal/telephonic, especially important when communicating requirements and managing expectations
• Significant organization skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to manage multiple activities effectively and efficiently
• Proactive and independent with great interpersonal skills, so to negotiate and resolve conflicts
• Strong analytical and excellent attention to detail
• Good with flow-diagrams, presentation and doc/BRD writing skills
• Past experience in developing sophisticated real-time MIS/dashboards and workflow tracking tool is preferred
• Prior experience in negotiating contracts and implementing a new market data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit, ICE etc.) is preferred
• Solid experience working with and managing major third-party systems vendors
• Understanding of technology, databases, SQL etc. are critical
• Project management certification is preferred
• Strong presentation skills
• Understanding of the funds administration industry is necessary
• Capability of translating business requirements to technology solutions
• An ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
