Job Title Professional, IT Systems Administration What does a great \' Professional, IT Systems Administration \' do Under direct supervision ensures software and hardware inquiries are solved in a timely fashion through the Help Desk Center. Provides Help Desk services to identify, prioritize, and resolve fewer complex problems with information systems products and services, forwards more complex problems to next level. The role is required to be performed from Fiserv India offices providing overlap with US working hours, hence working from 2PM to 11PM (IST) shift for all 5 working days in a week. What you will do: Ensuring all devices at client environment are up and running 24.7.365. Weekly and monthly Server and workstation patching for all client devices. Performing Vulnerability assessment and remediation on monthly basis. Responsible for troubleshooting desktop environments running Microsoft Windows operating systems. Providing technical assistance in product evaluations and sourcing Alert monitoring and taking appropriate action. Installing and configuring software and hardware Identifying and resolving issues related to computer and network connectivity. Working both independently and as a part a team Upgrading and maintaining Windows hardware, software, and other applications Providing technical support to clarify Windows desktop problems. Managing and supporting end-user devices, such as desktop systems and other peripheral equipment Assisting in testing, analyzing and resolving issues related to Windows operating systems. Providing enhanced desktop and customer support services Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to clients. What you will need to have: EngineeringBSC Graduate 4+ years\' experience on windows ITIL Certified Understanding of Computer Support and Troubleshooting, Knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, 7, Mac OSX, Windows Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including follow-up and attention to detail. Excellent writing and communication skills (both technical and non-technical) Have strong verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ready to work in 24/7 environment. An approach to your work that is self-directed and highly motivated. Team player What would be great to have: Willingness and capability to quickly learn new technologies required for accomplishing project goals. Extensive troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills Capable of exercising discretion and independent judgment Knowledge on Windows OS/ Server Administration Basic Linux/Cloud administration experience Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC) will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc. will be an advantage.
